When should I choose DTF over screen printing?
Choose DTF for small runs (under about 48 pieces), full-color or photographic designs, personalized names and numbers, performance fabrics (polyester, tri-blends, nylon), or when you need a fast turnaround. Screen printing is still the better choice for large runs of simple 1-4 color designs because the cost per shirt drops as quantity goes up.
Is DTF durable? How many washes does it hold up to?
Yes. Quality DTF transfers, properly pressed and cared for, can last 40+ washes without significant fading or cracking. Wash garments inside-out in cold water and tumble dry low for best results.
